Anyone who is a fan of split-level homes? Check this one out!

Are you familiar with split-level homes or what we call the 1.5-storey homes? In case you are wondering what split-level homes are, this post will help you understand.

Wikipedia says that a splitlevel home (also called a trilevel home) is a style of house in which the floor levels are staggered. There are typically two short sets of stairs, one running upward to a bedroom level, and one going downward toward a basement area. A bilevel includes two short sets of stairs and two levels.

Hunker says that a split-level home design incorporates aspects of both a two-story design and a ranch home. In a typical split-level design, a conventional two-story section of the home is connected to a single-story section, with the single-story section meeting the two-story section at a level halfway between the two floors. The vertical distance between any two adjacent levels of the home is, then, a half flight of stairs rather than a full flight.

The floor layout looks like a typical bungalow layout.  This shows the main level of the house that contains the two bedrooms, the kitchen and the dining area, the living room, two toilets and baths, and stairs going to the upper level.
