Small but Terrible! Check how this concept is applied in this petite but livable house!

In many of our posts, we have written that bigger is not always better.  These days, the concept of minimalism is now being adopted in designing homes. Though this concept is usually applied in interior designing, it also has come to apply in exterior and in the overall floor plan of the house.

A minimalist design embraces simplicity by using small amount of effects.  It only usually employs the basic geometric forms, elements with less or no decoration, repetition of structure , and simple materials.  The main goal is to attain a simple design that is achieved with less costs compared to a lavishly decorated home. The fewer the elements used, the lessor it costs, but the simple means the better.

We have featured a number of house designs that have used the concept of minimalism.. You can check our other websites for more information about this design.  You can find the links below.

The house looks so petite from the outside.  This is ideal for a single person who is looking for some privacy or it may be for a newly wed couple.

Small as it may seem because it has used all available spaces to house three bedrooms, what matters most is that it is livable and all the areas that are needed by an occupant are present.

2 bathrooms
