Hello, guys! How have you been lately? Are you ready for a green house? Yeah, green house! Well, I don’t really mean a green house that is a glass building where plants are grown to be protected from cold or hot weather! I mean a literally green house! Yes, a house that is painted green! So, how does that sound to you?
This is a compact bungalow with three bedrooms. It was built for a small family. They painted it green because it reflects their love for nature. The Spruce wrote that earthy greens blend well with natural woodsy settings and are often used on bungalows and rustic shingle style houses like this house on feature.
The trims and door and window frames were painted white but it can also be black to achieve a perfect contrast.
The glass door and windows reflect natural light into the interior making it bright and cheerful throughout the day.
This is the living room. The wall is painted with cream or somewhat ivory. This color gives a neutral, relaxing, and calming color, has some of the same pureness and softness of the color white, but with a warmer tone.
In a compact house like this, the family will eat in the living room or a small round table can be placed in the kitchen and the family can eat there. This is one concept of minimalism – the smart and maximum use of available space. It also means getting rid of stuffs that have no functions in the house.
To build this house, you need a budget of US$ 14,000 for a rough finish but functional to US$20,000 for a 100% completion.
