Hello, there! Today’s featured house design is a compact four-bedroom double-storey house. This house can be built in a small lot – the house total area is 10 x 7 meters or 70 square meters but since it is a double-storey house, its area is doubled so that makes 140 square meters.

The large glass door and windows allow natural light to enter keeping bright and ventilated. Big windows offer other benefits like a wider view of the outside.
The roof style is cross gable roof. Gable roofs easily shed water (and snow, in case you have snow in your place) which make them great for areas with frequent storms and heavy snowfall. Their steep pitch provides excellent water drainage and fewer leaks. They also allow for more ventilation, and provide more space for an attic or vaulted ceilings.
The 2nd floor contains three bedrooms (the other room is a worship room actually.) If you don’t need a worship room, yo can just convert it into a guest room, a library, or an office/work room.
For this design, you will need a budget of more or less US$120,000 or Php 6 million. This budget is for a 1oo% finish state. If you need a simple finishing and furniture, you can reduce your budget to 4-5 million pesos (US$80,000-100,000.) Check its floor plan below.
